Hello friends! If you need to come up with several weeks of work for your special education students to do at home while school is canceled for the coronavirus and you have no idea where to start, I might have the perfect solution!
You might know about my Adapted Thematic Packs but did you know I have a completely free pack? You get all of the activities, all of the levels, EVERYTHING in the free pack!
The pack comes with a suggested monthly guide that includes all of the hands-on prepped materials (think the adapted book, file folders, etc). If we are prepping this to send home to parents, those materials might not be appropriate. I have re-written the plan to last three weeks with the print and go resources only, which you can snag at the end of this post.
This blog will walk you through exactly what you need to prep. There are A LOT of options in a thematic pack which is awesome, but it can also be overwhelming. When you open up the folder, there will be five mini folders.
We won’t be using the hands-on folder but we will need PDFs from the other four folders. Use this post to guide you as you print packets for your students. For each activity, choose the level included that is most appropriate for the child you are making the packet for.
