If you are using my weekly thematic packs then you know it is a lot of material! If you to take the time to prep everything, then make sure you have a way to find it again when you need it! I have 3 simple ways you can store the weekly packs.
My first suggestion is a thick binder. I recommend a 2-inch binder if you pick and choose materials and a 3-inch binder if you are using all components of the pack. When I used this method I used these sheet protectors to hold copies. I liked having this read to go with the zoo theme as emergency sub plans.
Another idea is to use this to hold the printables and place the adapted materials elsewhere. Each weekly pack comes with adapted books, task cards and more. This is a great way to build a library of resources. Put all of the adapted books in your reading corner and store the printables in a binder.
This second version is my favorite way to store weekly packs. I normally just print fresh printables when I need them so I just needed to store my hard goods. These project cases are perfect! They can store the adapted books, task cards, and clip cards. They are slim and easy to stack. They don’t take up a lot of space and can keep everything protected. I’m obsessed!
This third version is perfect for the holiday-specific packs. A lot of the packs can be used anytime but certain packs, like Halloween, are month specific. I already have monthly storage bins in my classroom. I used these jumbo hefty ziplock bags to store the materials. They are 2.5 gallons and can fit all of the adapted materials. I put the Halloween ones in a bag and popped it in my October bin. You can grab the bins here and the labels are from Teaching Special Thinkers.
Another idea is to buy a bin specifically for weekly packs and use the jumbo baggies to store all the different themes. If you want to know more about how I use the monthly bins in my classroom, read this post.
I’m looking to add some more weekly packs to my collection-let me know what themes you want to see in the comments!
