What started as an ESY pack has now turned into my biggest and most proud project to date!
The first pack was Ocean Animals and it was created in May 2017. It was a tool I used to survive ESY that summer. At the time the pack was on a K-1 academic level. When I returned to the classroom in the fall, I saw the potential for this pack to grow and the need for more differentiation.
The pack officially changed named to Weekly Thematic Pack and received its the first round of revisions in January 2018. We added materials to reach learners on both ends (pre-academic and 2nd grade academic).
The pack went through the second round of revisions in September 2018. This was to add more differentiation into already existing products in the pack and expanding the length of some materials.
The final round of revisions occurred in February of 2019. This is when the pack changed named to Adapted Thematic Pack and became a month-long curriculum. The pack now includes adapted materials such as adapted books, file folders, and clip cards. The pack comes with a wide array of reading, math and language arts activities with up to 4 levels of differentiation. Fun activities such a visual recipes and bingo round out the pack.
Each PDF in this pack represents a student I have had the honor of teaching. Each material was designed, redesigned, used and tweaked with the sweet ones in my class. This is my pride and I hope you love it as well.
